A Letter to Thilo Sarrazin

von zeev avrahami

Dear Mr. Sarrazin,

Yesterday I spent a day in Naumburg, writing a follow up about the trial of the 20-year-old from Laucha who attacked an Israeli kid after calling him “Jewish Pig”. Since most of the witnesses were underage we had a lot of breaks in the session. In one of those breaks I sat for an interview with Andreas Karl (Karl, like Karl Marx, he introduced himself), the head of the NPD party in Laucha.

Mr. Sarrazin I would like to let you know that in the NPD branch in Laucha you are a role model. They quote you and looking up to you, saying that you were always a progressive thinker. If you are looking for a group to lead, or just give a speech to a welcoming crowd (not this jelly liberals from Berlin), I have the contacts for you.

Mr. Sarrazin, I am really pissed with you. I am pissed with you because I would like to distance myself from all these marmelada people consumed with politically correctness. The points you are making about integration in Germany are topics that every decent German must discuss in public. If the Germans will keep discussing these issues in their back room, these whispers will blow up in their faces in one of the next elections, just like it happened in France, Holland, Denmark.

I think that the German public is ready for this discussion, but we live in days where how the plate is being decorated is much more important than the content it has. You broke the plate.

One last thing, Mr. Sarrazin. As a Jew with special genes (we always ask the annoying questions), I would like to know if you read Daniel Goldhagen’s “Hitler’s Willing Executioners”?

I am just wondering if Germans really want to initiate any kind of discussion about nations and genes.

  1. For several years now the conservative media attacks people to be blamed with some guild and ignoring constantly the bad condition they are brought in by severe policy mistakes and German reunion mistakes.

It started with the invention of an unterschicht and Hartz4 receiver until many people got used to the idea of :
    there are people below me
i don’t need to be interested in the reasons why are poor
I don’t need to show solidarity because that lowers me to their level

It’s like the invers American Dream build on fear.

The German reflex against fashist people (people talking negative about strangers where you can’t know how they are until you know how all individuals are) is eroding in this time. Now you have to find someone even lower, someone who has criminal genes who is guilty for the world economic break down. Ask a banker who might be responsible.

I still don’t like the media discussing the ideas of a stupid old f and giving him audience.

  2. Sarrazin is trying to become something like the german Glenn Beck.

These people get their attention like someone that yells ‘FIRE’ in a crowded house.

And like these people, they should recieve the treatment that act as irresponsible.

  3. It’s tricky to get all thoughts into a short comment. 1st: would all of you please google the real roots of the word Sarrazin (it’s of french origin and aimes historically at people being part of the crusades). 2nd: all foreigners should look at the german law (§ 173 StGB, §1307 BGB) where also sex as well as marriage of half-siblings is prohibited. Akbayram et al. (Genet Couns 2009, 20(3): 207-214) reported that 25% of marriages in eastern turkey are made between half-siblings.
Morton (1978, Proc Natl Acad Sci USA 75(8) 3906-3908) showed long ago that the risk of genetic defects and illnesses in offspring of halb-sibling marriages is five times higher than that of non-sibling marriages. If even one guy in here is able to search the medical database pubmed (use search terms: consanguinenous marriage intelligence) you will find studies confirming that IQ in offspring of half-sibling is lower, abortion rate is higher, mortality rate of offspring is higher, rate of asthma and deafness is also higher in half-sibling offspring. No one simple question is not answered in german familiy statistics: how much turkish or arabic offspring from half-sibling marriage is actually living in germany? And the most interesting question is: is that kind of genetic disadvantage perhaps one of the reasons why turkish children often do have more problems in learning out german language? So at the end, Mr. Sarrazin might be completely wrong in his “genetic analysis”, but the real facts might back him up completely … but usualy lefties usually ignore facts, don’t they?

Bullshit, he is simply speaking truthfully about an issue that concerns people, but is ruled off limits by the media & political elites. As Benjamin Weinthal writes:

“Sarrazin has acknowledged that he used emotionally charged language to jolt Germans out of a dogmatic slumber about their country’s failed integration policies toward Muslims. His rhetoric is at times prone to clumsy generalizations and sweeping provocations. The efforts to silence him and prevent a debate about his book seem to prove his thesis correct. A closing of the German mind does not help advance the discussion about the dangers of German Islamism and failed assimilation programs.”

I totally agree. Sarazzin is carrying the right message and it is something that must be discussed being blocked by politically correctness. Not discussing this will blow up in Germany face just like it happened in elections all over Europe. But he is an idiot for not knowing how to present it, and for involving the Jewish genes in his discussion. That turned him into a low level promoter for his new book.

  6. Upjohn, I am sorry, but I didn’t get your point. Can you write again, more to the point.

  7. On second thoughts:

I rather think that he will join forces with Erika Steinbach, Roland Koch, and the other right-wing guys that kicked out of their jobs in the last years, for some reasons that suddenly make sense.

A new party is forming soon, I guess.
