In unserer Reihe der original riot girls ist nach X-Ray Spex’ Poly Styrene (rest in peace!) nun mit Viv Albertine von The Slits eine Protagonisten der zweiten großen Frauenband der 70er bei unseren My Favourite Records verteten!
Nach einigen Jahren außerhalb des Musikgeschäfts kehrt Albertine 2011 mit einem Solo-Album zurück und spielt Ende Juli auch Konzerte in Deutschland.
