Das britische Fußballmagazin “Four Four Two” hat in seiner jüngsten Ausgabe den jeweils besten und schlechtesten Ausländer aller Zeiten eines jeden britischen Profivereins gekürt.
Der einzige deutsche Spieler, der den Sprung in diese Auswahl geschafft hat, ist der ehemalige Gladbacher – und 19malige Nationalspieler – Michael Frontzeck, der jüngst auch als Trainer gescheitert ist.
So hat Frontzeck die zweifelhafte Ehre offiziell als schlechtester ausländischer Spieler in der langen, ruhmreichen Geschichte von Manchester City zu gelten:
