In the olden days, like three years ago, when white people were still officially pretending that they thought being racist was bad, people used to call me a feminazi. A LOT. It was an insult I heard. I find it quite interesting that it’s not an insult anymore – this is literally because being a nazi isn’t a bad thing anymore – but back in the olden days, I heard it a lot.

Here are some of the things I thought when people called me a feminazi:

God, what a cunt.

God, he’s a dickhead.

Oh, he can fuck off,

God, what a total cunt.

Oh, for fuck’s sake, that blog isn’t even that controversial.

God, what a dick.

Oh, for fuck’s sake, maybe Ronnie’s forgotten to take his meds again? Does he know I can read this? He’s tagged me!

God, what a nob.

Here is something I literally NEVER thought when called a feminazi:

OH WELL, IN FOR A PENNY, IN FOR A POUND, IF YOU’RE GOING TO GET WET YOU MIGHT AS WELL GO SWIMMING OR IS IT IF YOU’RE GOING TO GO SWIMMING YOU MIGHT AS WELL GET WET, ANYWAY WHERE IS MY COPY OF MEIN KAMPF I MIGHT AS WELL BECOME A PROPER NAZI SEEING AS HOW EVERYONE THINKS I AM ONE ANYWAY, HUH, THAT’LL SHOW THEM!

The idea that white people should never be called nazis unless they are literally working at concentration camps or they will all become racist is horseshit, basically. Look at how much white people complain about stuff. The Autobahn, or that airport not being built on time. Long waiting times at the Meldeamt. The AOK not paying the whole cost of your child’s orthodontist treatment. I am not trying to belittle any of these problems, this kind of shit is really annoying, and I think bitching about problems is important. It’s therapeutic – it’s venting – and it’s necessary – people have to do it, man. It’s also…..Redefreiheit, which we’re always being told is what the naughty ideological „Linken“ are trying to suppress so much.

PoC are going to bitch about racism. You think it’s annoying that the airport isn’t going to be ready on time? IMAGINE HOW FUCKING ANNOYING IT IS BEING TREATED LIKE YOU ARE LESS HUMAN THAN OTHER PEOPLE JUST BECAUSE YOU DON’T GET ALL LOBSTERY WHEN THE SUN’S OUT. PoC ARE going to bitch about racism and they’re going to bitch about racists. They’re going to use different words to describe racists and sometimes the word they choose will be nazi. And maybe not everyone who gets called a nazi fulfils all the dictionary definition criteria of an actual nazi (a lot of them do, though, let’s be honest). Maybe sometimes some white people will get unfairly called nazis. The idea that this injustice is so traumatic and unbearable that this is what actually causes racism but that the injustice of racism should never be spoken of ever is in itself fundamentally racist. It suggests that PoC are not human, don’t have feelings, don’t get traumatized – or even pissed off – by racism. It suggests that PoC don’t deserve the right to describe the way being treated by racists, the way being discriminated against in a racist society makes them feel. It is, essentially, just telling people to just shut the fuck up.

There may come a time in Germany where white people don’t have to listen to PoC complaining about racism. At the moment, I think the vast majority of white people in this country, and I am not talking about nazis here, I am talking about the whole fucking lot of you, are quite looking forward to it. The same people who wept buckets of tears about a poem being painted over are quite looking forward to a time when using the word ’nazi‘ is criminalized, or when PoC are so intimidated by nazis that they really only use that word for people who want to kill them and not for people who just wish them dead. Spare me your crocodile tears about Redefreiheit, please. You don’t give a shit about Redefreiheit. You never have.

Niemand will Nazi sein.
