Kollaborationen zwischen bekannten Bands sind eine Seltenheit – von gelungenen Supergroups ganz zu schweigen (Electronic in ihrer Anfangszeit fallen hier ein – aber wer sonst?). Die schottischen Artschool-Freunde von Franz Ferdinand haben sich aber nun mit den Synthiepop-Drama-Queens der Sparks zusammengetan und ein in Teilen überraschend gelungenes Album unter dem Namen FFS veröffentlicht. In ihren besten Momenten klingen FFS wie Franz Ferdinand mit einer zusätzlichen Prise Pop.
