It is really gone. South Africa will never have it again. The exciting thing is the African teams are still doing very well.

They practise a lot and their practise is worth it a lot because their performance is pleasing.

They are ready to score the ultimate goal.

Me and my family could not watch the games recently, because electricity went down from Tuesday afternoon. I just heard they played really well. Electricity is really a problem in the Vaal where I live especially for us who live in a shelter. Because we can’t complain because the people from the church are buying it for us.

When Bafana Bafana played I just knew when the goals were scored because I heard the loud noise of the vuvuzelas outside. South Africa did not go through to the finals but I am proud to be a South African.

I am still supporting other teams, Ghana, Cameroon and also Germany, because it looks like they are in the lead. Their performance is marvellous. Other people here are still excited and still filled with happiness in their heart and energized because of their love for soccer.

As I wrap up, may the best team win. We can all play but we can’t all win.

Mpho, Mbazo’s girl. (That is Bafana team captain Aaron Mokoena’s nickname and means: A person who lives according to his promise). I was here.
