Die Briten des Victorian English Gentlemen Club mögen zwar den englischsten Namen vorstellbar haben, doch ist ihr Sound neben heimischen Postpunkhelden wie The Fall und Wire auch stark von Größen des amerikanischen Indie-Rocks (Pixies) beeinflusst.
In dieser Woche tourt die Dreimannband aus Cardiff über deutsche Bühnen, die genauen Daten siehe am Ende des Textes.

I don’t /can’t dance but if I were in a different dimension it would be Cheap Trick: “I want you to want me.”
3. your favourite song by Pete Doherty?
This question suggests I am in some way a ”Pete” fan, however I could not name a song by him…..maybe the one with the drum beat?
4. your favourite record by The Pixies?
This is better: Silver
5. a song guaranteed to make you feel depressed?
None
6. best concert you ever attended?
A band called Hank and Lilly, they played to a small room of people and it blew my mind. They had such good songs presented in a strange way, the singer wore a mask and there was a girl dressed as a mermaid, really amazing
7. a song you wish you’d made yourself?
“You really got me” by the Kinks, a real punk record miles ahead of the time
8. a record that evokes the greatest summer of your life?
The greatest summer/spring of my life was in SXSW we went on an American tv kids program, played a gig, met Thurston Moore and I vomited in a venue and found a fountain to wash my trousers in. However, I cant think of a song that covers this
