Aus Anlass der letzten Veröffentlichung der Nottinghamer Indierock-Band Seachange wollten wir noch einmal nachfragen, welche Alben Seachange selbst denn am besten gefallen haben.

* Your three favourite Punk singles/songs?*

** New Rose – the Damned
** God Save the Queen – Sex pistols
** Two Step – Low

*A record that will make you dance?*

Graceland – Paul Simon

*Your favourite song by Pete Doherty (The Libertines, Babyshambles)?*

Can’t stand me now – The Libertines

*The best „new“ band right now?*

Whitest Boy Alive

*The worst band around?*

Don’t know really, most modern indie music from England is rubbish and offensive on many levels

*The best record to get drunk to?*

YOYOYOYOYO – Spank Rock

* What do you think of Radiohead?*

They are better than everyone else by a very long way

* The best song by Pavement?*

unfair question. Range Life always makes me feel warm inside

*Guided By Voices or Build To Spill – and why?*

GBV – they got me more drunk than I’ve ever been, we played with them at the Bowery Ballroom in New York and they had a drink called “moonshine‘ that made me go blind!

*What was your first gig?*

Rubber Duck in Nottingham – the less said about that the better.

*Your favourite German song/record?*

Neon Golden – The Notwist

one of the best records of all time in my opinion

*Your favourite record of all time?*

either appetite for destruction by Guns and Roses, or Secret Name by Low.

It’s impossible to answer that question, it’s like being asked who do you love most out of your wife, kids, brothers, sisters, mum and dad.

(James Vyner, Seachange)
