Jónsi, Sänger der isländischen Indielieblinge Sigur Ros, über das Album „Rubycon“ der deutschen Band Tangerine Dream:
„I used to love „Rubycon“. I was obsessed with it. I would listen to it every night on my headphones for about a year when I went to sleep and I got really depressed. It’s depressing music, but it’s so beautiful. It’s synthy, ambient music but with old analogue synths. They pioneered the ambient thing, them and Brian Eno. I think all this stuff is in my DNA.“
