Die Band aus Wigan spielt einen Sound, der nach einem cleanen Pete Doherty zur späteren Babyshambles-Zeit klingt. A propos Wigan: um den in Nöten befindlichen Fußballclub Wigan Athletic zu unterstützen, nahm die Band ein Cover von Al Wilsons R&B-Kracher “The Snake” auf, dessen einziges 7inch-Exemplar für 4.000 Pfund versteigert wurde:

I’m not very experienced in punk but it’s something I would definitely enjoy playing myself.

Together Forever by Rick Astley, I get a good feeling from the track when I listen to it.

The best “new” artist / band right now?
Rianne Downey a singer songwriter from Scotland, her lyrics are very thoughtful and meaningful intertwined with lovely melodies. A special talent indeed.
Your favourite song about rebellion/revolution?
At the root of it, aren’t all the best songs about rebellion in some way shape or form?
Your favourite song this year so far?
I’m not really up to date on music to be honest.
I tend not to listen to much music to make sure I get as much music out of myself rather than be influenced.
Your favourite movie about music – and why?
Bohemian Rhapsody, the film. It was fun to take a glimpse into the journey of queen.
The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys or Franz Ferdinand – which one do you prefer and why?
9They’re all great in their own right, in truth I’m not very up to date on music like I say I prefer not to be influenced.
Your opinion on Morrissey?
I like some of his songs.
The best song you’ve ever written / recorded?
My personal favourites are “I’ll never forget the time I spent with you” and a song called “within our own time”, as they hold lots of personal feelings and memories of time gone by.
Your favourite german song/record?
The German national anthem the instrumentation is amazing.
Your favourite record of all time?
Jake Bugg. One of my favourite songs is “simple as this” but anything off his first album could easily be there. It’s the first time I really connected with someone through their music and really related to it.
